Our members have different careers and businesses, but share something in common: being self-employed can make their personal financial lives more complicated. SELF exists to make it simpler.

We'll ask a few simple questions to understand what you're trying to achieve. Where specialist help is required, we'll introduce you to the appropriate expert from our partner network.

You then deal directly with that expert, while SELF remains your place to start the next time you need help.

We look for specialists who understand that self-employed finances don't always fit neatly into standard boxes and who have the experience to work with the circumstances our members face.

No. SELF is a concierge and introduction service.

SELF helps you understand what type of expertise you may need and connects you with an appropriate partner. Where regulated financial advice or another professional service is required, that advice or service is provided directly by the relevant partner, who is responsible for the advice they provide.
That depends on the service and the partner.

Any fees or charges relating to a professional service will be explained to you by the relevant partner before you proceed.

As a SELF member, you may also receive preferential benefits with participating partners, including reduced fees, free initial consultations and enhanced service levels or priority support.
Yes, in some cases.

SELF may receive a referral fee, commission or share of revenue when a member uses a service provided by one of our partners.

This does not increase your SELF membership fee, and our partners remain responsible for explaining any charges associated with the services they provide.
Your membership includes access to your SELF Financial Concierge and our hand-selected partner network, a private 45-minute Personal Onboarding Session, exclusive member benefits, Financial Insights & Timely Prompts, and access to The SELF Community.

Your membership lasts for 12 months and you can use your concierge throughout your membership whenever a relevant financial question or need arises.
Standard SELF membership is £499 per year.

Our first 100 members can join as Founding Members for £199 for their first 12 months, saving £300 on the standard annual membership price.

After your first 12 months, your membership renews at the standard annual price of £499. We'll contact you at least 30 days before renewal to remind you of the amount due.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period after joining. If you change your mind during that period, you can cancel your membership and request a refund in accordance with our Membership Terms.
