SELF Financial Concierge
Membership Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 August 2026
These Membership Terms & Conditions explain the basis on which you become and remain a member of SELF Financial Concierge (“SELF”). By purchasing a SELF membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. About SELF
SELF Financial Concierge is operated by TMA HQ L.L.C-FZ, a limited liability company incorporated in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under Licence No. 2541630.01, trading as SELF Financial Concierge.
TMA HQ L.L.C-FZ Trading as SELF Financial Concierge Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba Dubai, United Arab Emirates Licence No. 2541630.01 Email: hello@selffc.com
In these Terms, “SELF”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean TMA HQ L.L.C-FZ trading as SELF Financial Concierge.
2. What SELF is
SELF is a financial concierge designed for self-employed people.
Membership gives you access to the SELF concierge, providing you with one place to turn when you have questions or needs relating to your personal financial circumstances.
Where appropriate, SELF can connect you with relevant experts and selected partner firms who can provide specialist or regulated advice and services.
3. What SELF does not do
SELF does not itself provide regulated financial advice.
Our role is to understand what you need and, where appropriate, connect you with relevant expertise.
Any regulated financial advice, recommendation, financial product or specialist service is provided by the relevant adviser or partner firm, not by SELF.
An introduction by SELF does not constitute financial advice or a recommendation that any particular financial product or course of action is suitable for you.
If you choose to engage with a partner, that firm is responsible for the advice and services it provides and may provide you with its own terms of business, privacy information and regulatory disclosures.
4. Your SELF membership
Your membership currently includes:
- access to the SELF Financial Concierge;
- one complimentary 45-minute Onboarding Session when you first become a member;
- access to our selected partner network where appropriate;
- exclusive benefits and offers made available by participating SELF partners;
- access to SELF educational resources; and
- optional access to the private SELF member community.
Membership benefits may develop over time as SELF grows.
We may make reasonable changes to individual benefits or features, but we will not materially reduce the overall membership service during a membership period you have already paid for without a legitimate reason and appropriate notice.
5. Your Onboarding Session
Every new member receives one complimentary 45-minute Onboarding Session when they first join SELF.
The session gives us an opportunity to understand your circumstances, discuss any immediate financial needs and identify whether there are any relevant SELF partners we can introduce you to.
The Onboarding Session does not constitute regulated financial advice. Where specialist or regulated advice is required, this will be provided separately by the relevant partner firm.
The Onboarding Session is a one-off benefit when you first become a member and does not repeat when your membership renews.
6. Our partner network
SELF works with selected independent advisers, professionals and partner firms across different areas of personal finance.
Where we believe a partner may be relevant to your needs, we may offer to introduce you.
You are under no obligation to accept an introduction, engage with a partner or purchase any product or service.
Any partner you choose to engage with remains responsible for the advice, products and services it provides and for meeting its own professional and regulatory obligations.
7. Our commercial relationships with partners
SELF may receive a fee, commission, share of revenue or other commercial payment from a partner firm where a SELF member goes on to use that firm's services.
These commercial arrangements help support the SELF membership service.
The existence of a commercial relationship does not change the responsibility of the relevant partner for the advice or services it provides.
8. Member benefits and partner offers
Some SELF partners may provide benefits exclusively to SELF members.
These may include preferential pricing, reduced professional fees, complimentary consultations, priority access or other benefits.
The benefits available may vary between partners and may change from time to time. Any eligibility criteria relating to a partner's underlying product or service will continue to apply.
9. Founding Membership
Founding Membership is available to the first 100 members of SELF.
The Founding Membership price is £199 for your first 12 months.
The £199 price applies to your first membership year only and does not provide a permanent entitlement to renew your membership at £199.
10. Renewal and annual membership price
SELF membership is an annually renewing membership.
Founding Membership costs £199 for your first 12 months. Unless cancelled, your membership will automatically renew at £499 for the following 12 months and annually thereafter at the applicable standard membership price. We will contact you at least 30 days before each renewal to remind you of the amount due.
Membership fees are paid annually in advance using the payment method associated with your membership.
If we change the standard annual membership price in future, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal.
Any price change will not affect a membership period you have already paid for.
11. Cancelling your membership
You can cancel the automatic renewal of your SELF membership at any time before your next renewal payment is taken.
You can cancel through the SELF membership payment portal, where available, or by contacting us at hello@selffc.com.
If you cancel after your 14-day cooling-off period, your membership will normally remain active until the end of the membership period you have already paid for. You will then not be charged for another membership year.
There is no charge for cancelling your membership renewal.
12. 14-day cooling-off period
We want you to be comfortable with your decision to join SELF.
You may cancel your membership for any reason within 14 days of joining and receive a full refund of your membership fee.
This applies even if you have already started using your membership during those 14 days.
To cancel during your cooling-off period, email hello@selffc.com.
We will cancel your membership and arrange for your membership payment to be refunded to your original payment method.
13. Payments
Membership payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe.
By purchasing an annually renewing membership, you authorise the applicable annual membership payment to be charged to the payment method associated with your membership unless you cancel before renewal.
If a renewal payment fails, we or our payment provider may contact you to update your payment information and may attempt to collect the outstanding payment again.
If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend your membership until payment has been received.
14. The SELF member community
Members may choose to join the private SELF member community. Participation is optional.
The community provides a place for SELF members to connect, exchange ideas, ask general questions and share experiences.
Information and opinions shared by other members are their own and should not be treated as advice from SELF.
Members must not use the community to provide unauthorised financial advice, harass other members, engage in unlawful activity or repeatedly send unsolicited commercial messages.
We may moderate the community and remove content or members where reasonably necessary to protect the community and its members.
15. Educational content
SELF may provide members with articles, guides, updates and other educational material.
This content is provided for general information and education only. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it does not constitute personalised financial, investment, mortgage, tax, legal or other professional advice.
Where you require advice specific to your circumstances, the SELF concierge can help connect you with relevant specialist expertise.
16. Your responsibilities
When communicating with SELF, you agree to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to engage with any professional or partner introduced by SELF.
You should consider the advice, documentation and terms provided directly by a partner before deciding whether to proceed with its recommendations, products or services.
You must not share access to member-only services or benefits with someone who is not a SELF member unless we have expressly permitted it.
17. Your personal information
We process your personal information in accordance with the SELF Privacy Policy.
When you ask us to make an introduction, we may share relevant information with the partner you have agreed to be introduced to.
We will only share information reasonably required for the introduction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Once your information has been provided to a partner, that partner will also be responsible for handling your information in accordance with its own privacy obligations.
18. Availability of the concierge
We aim to make the SELF concierge readily accessible to members.
However, we do not guarantee that the concierge or any particular member of the SELF team will be available continuously or respond immediately.
SELF is not an emergency service.
Where a matter is urgent or subject to a deadline, you should make this clear and obtain appropriate professional assistance where necessary.
19. Suspending or ending a membership
We may suspend or terminate a membership where a member seriously or repeatedly:
- abuses or harasses SELF staff, partners or other members;
- uses SELF for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- materially misuses the concierge or member community;
- shares membership access or member-only benefits without permission; or
- materially breaches these Terms.
We will act reasonably when exercising this right.
If we end your membership for reasons that are not your fault, we will provide an appropriate refund for any unused part of your paid membership period.
20. Our responsibility to you
SELF is responsible for providing the membership and concierge service with reasonable care and skill.
SELF is not responsible for regulated financial advice, recommendations, financial products or professional services independently provided by partner firms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
21. Changes to your membership or these Terms
We may update these Terms or make reasonable changes to the SELF membership where necessary because of changes to our services, partners, technology, law, regulation or operating arrangements.
We will not use this right to retrospectively remove rights relating to a membership period you have already paid for.
Where a change materially affects your membership, we will provide reasonable notice.
22. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the SELF membership or concierge service, please contact us at hello@selffc.com.
We will investigate your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly.
If your complaint relates to regulated advice, a financial product or a service provided by one of our partner firms, the complaint should normally be made directly to that firm using the complaints procedure it provides to you.
23. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and your SELF membership are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections available to you under the laws of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or your membership may be brought before the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
